With technology, there’s only one way forward: upwards. With our internet needs and demands exceeding our current capabilities by day, we are now seeing the pilot and rise of the 5G network. This technology is a huge step up from the current 4G, 3G and 2G networks, thanks to its insanely faster speed, higher bandwidth allowing us to access information from anywhere anytime. However, just like free money – there’s always a cost – in this case, that comes in the form of higher EMF radiation. 5G networks, as other technologies have not been fully researched and thoroughly explored for there to be concrete data on its direct implications on our biological systems and its ability to cause oxidative stress. The reason behind this is that 5G networks require more densely packed antennas – in other words, cell phone towers have to be more closely located to the area of usage. But with the world’s ever-increasing network needs, you’re bound to be exposed to higher levels of EMF radiation – but how do you best protect yourself in the meantime? 

  1. Invest in EMF protection technology – make everywhere you go and work an EMF safe zone to be. This might sound impossible now, but 20 years ago – this was a way of life for most!

But you can take it a step further and by upping your intake of antioxidants, you are providing yourself with another layer of protection. Foods with higher antioxidant levels include blueberries, walnuts, pomegranate, basil, cinnamon and more. Consuming enough omega 3 fatty acids has also been shown to help you fight increasing levels of free radicals – and this can come from anything from salmon, flaxseeds or even taking omega 3 pills depending on your diet.
